A Nesquehoning woman is accused of trying to steal nearly $1,200 in clothing at the Walmart store in Rush Township a few days ago.
According to information from State Police-Frackville, Troopers were sent to the Rush Twp. Walmart store at about 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 8.
Police learned that Amanda McHose, 36, of Nesquehoning, didn’t scan numerous items of clothing at the self-checkout. The clothing items had a total retail price of $1,190.42.
Police say McHose was taken into custody without incident.
McHose is scheduled to be arraigned before District Magistrate Stephen Bayer on Thursday afternoon. She’s facing a third-degree felony charge of retail theft.
