Schuylkill County Rain Totals from Tropical Rainstorm Debby

Where did the most rain fall in Schuylkill County on Friday?

Schuylkill County was definitely spared the worst Tropical Rainstorm Debby had to offer on Friday.

But some areas of the coal region definitely did get measurable amounts of rainfall. This rain led to some minor localized flooding.

And it kept first responders busy all day. Fire crews were dispatched all over for downed trees, utility poles, and wires.

Close to 2,000 PPL Electric customers were without power at some point during the day on Friday. At 9:40 a.m. Saturday, there were still 908 homes and businesses without electricity following the storm.

The most outages are being reported in the following locations:

  • Cass Twp.: 205
  • Pine Grove Twp.: 221
  • West Brunswick Twp.: 160
