There are nearly 2,000 Schuylkill County homes and businesses without power after Tropical Rainstorm Debby impacted the area on Friday.
Heavy rain and strong winds knocked down trees and utility poles across the county. As of 4:20 p.m., there are 1,975 PPL Electric customers in Schuylkill County without power.
The municipalities with the most outages are:
- Cass Twp.: 186
- E. Union Twp.: 226
- Pine Grove Twp.: 221
- Rush Twp.: 213
- Ryan Twp.: 304
- West Brunswick Twp.: 160
