In the Middle of Another Heat Wave

Another muggy day ahead for Sunday.

It appears as though we’re smack dab in the middle of our second heat wave of the year.

This one certainly feels a lot muggier than the one a few weeks ago.

We’ll have to double-check with the folks at National Weather Service but we definitely broke the 90-degree threshold on Saturday and it appears we’ll do the same on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday and get whisper close on Saturday.

It was pretty hot on Friday as well, so we could be looking at a 5-day heat wave with very little relief in sight.

Later this week, however, we could be experiencing the rainy remnants of Hurricane Beryl.

Here’s the latest 7-day forecast for Pottsville from National Weather Service …
