Schuylkill County has been placed under a Flood Watch by National Weather Service.
The Flood Watch is in effect until Thursday morning.
NWS is forecasting between 2-3 inches of rain, with up to 4 inches in some areas, between now and then.
All this rain increases the risk of flooding, especially in low-lying areas, near creeks and streams, and other areas that are prone to flooding.
According to the latest 7-day forecast, we should see the balance of this potentially excessive rainfall on Wednesday here in Schuylkill County. Rainfall amounts of 1-2 inches are expected tomorrow.
