Police say they found a Pottsville man asleep in his vehicle earlier this month at a business along Route 61 outside Schuylkill Haven.
According to information from State Police-Schuylkill Haven, Troopers were called to a location near the Exxon station along the highway in North Manheim Twp. to perform a welfare check on a person in their truck who was sleeping. This was on Dec. 2 at a little after 11 a.m.
When police arrived, they found 44-year-old Pottsville man Joseph Generella asleep inside his truck. Police say they also saw what they believed to be drugs in plain view while conducting this welfare check.
Generella was taken into custody and police say they plan to file charges against him.
