More than 70 vendors are ready for visitors to the final Pottsville Outdoor Market set for this Saturday, Oct. 28.
The market runs from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. in the Alvernia University Pottsville CollegeTowne parking lot. Weather is expected to be unrealistically sensational on Saturday with a sunny sky and a high temperature approaching 80°!
For the final event of the year, organizers have been granted permission to close down Progress Ave. in the area near the market. This allows Pottsville Outdoor Market to feature more than 70 vendors.
This event will be a “Vend-or-Treat” and many of the vendors will be handing out candy and other treats. Music for the October Pottsville Outdoor Market will once again be provided by The Dynamics Department.
Several non-profits will be selling food and merchandise to help fund their efforts in Schuylkill County. They include:
- Schuylkill Coal Crackers Baseball
- Good Will Fire Co. No. 4
- Ruth Steinert Memorial SPCA
Pottsville Outdoor Markets are organized by Amanda Marx and Jonathan Morris. They’ll soon be announcing some plans for the 2024 schedule of events.
