Yuengling Announces Partnership with MLS Team Austin FC

It’s Yuengling’s first partnership with an MLS franchise.

D.G. Yuengling & Son, Inc. has officially announced an inaugural partnership with Major League Soccer’s (MLS) Austin FC.

This represents the first time Yuengling has teamed up with an MLS team.

As part of this alliance, Yuengling will become an official partner of Austin FC, promising to elevate game day experiences for fans at Austin FC’s Q2 Stadium.

To enhance the fan experience, the stadium will feature a Yuengling-branded grab-and-go market concession, granting fans expedient access to Yuengling’s portfolio of beers, including the Traditional Lager and FLIGHT by Yuengling, the company’s popular light beer offering.

The Yuengling Company General Manager, Pat Pikunas, conveyed the company’s excitement about this new partnership.

“We are thrilled to join forces with Austin FC, a club that shares our commitment to excellence and creating memorable experiences,” Pikunas said. “Soccer has an incredible ability to bring people together, and we look forward to engaging with passionate fans around the game and Yuengling beer throughout the season in this new market.”

He expressed optimism for the potential of soccer to unite fans, with Yuengling eagerly anticipating the opportunity to engage with ardent supporters around the game and their range of beers.

This partnership will encompass more than just in-stadium involvement. Yuengling and Austin FC plan to host an assortment of fan-focused events and activations throughout the season. These will include player appearances from the club, meet-and-greets, unique giveaways, and exclusive game-day activations like FLIGHT by Yuengling pre-game tailgates and road viewing parties.

Andy Loughnane, Austin FC President, warmly welcomed Yuengling as an official partner.

He praised the collaboration with “America’s oldest and largest craft brewery” and reiterated their joint mission to create an extraordinary matchday experience for the club’s devoted fans, boosting the electrifying energy that characterizes the sport of soccer.

Loughnane said, “Working together with America’s oldest and largest craft brewery, we are dedicated to creating an exceptional matchday experience for our passionate fans, amplifying the energy and excitement that define our beloved sport.”
