Victims of Fatal Lake Wynonah Fire Identified

Investigation ongoing, police say

State Police investigating Wednesday’s fatal fire in the Lake Wynonah community have released the names of the 2 victims in it.

Police say 52-year-old Renee Bentley and 54-year-old Michael Dellock were both found dead inside the home at 1027 Indian Drive, Wayne Township, as firefighters worked to control the flames.

According to the information released on their identities, both Bentley and Dellock were residents at that address.

Nearby fire crews responded to that house on Indian Drive at 5:35 a.m. Wednesday. Firefighters from Summit Station, Schuylkill Haven, Friedensburg, Pine Grove, and Mt. Aetna (Berks County) responded to suppress the blaze.

The State Police Troop L Major Case Team and Fire Marshal unit are continuing their investigation into Wednesday’s fire in Lake Wynonah.

Bentley and Dellock’s bodies were recovered from the house and are with the Schuylkill County Coroner’s Office for further investigation.
