Police: Overnight Girardville Fires Were Arson

Authorities need help in investigation.

State Police investigating 3 overnight fires in Girardville believe they were act of arson.

State Police investigating 3 overnight fires in Girardville believe they were act of arson.

According to information released today by State Police in Frackville, the fires were located in the area of B St. at about 2:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 25.

Members of Girardville Fire Dept. responded to and extinguished each of them – one to a garage, a trash bin, and a brush fire).

Police are asking for the public’s help in providing information or video surveillance footage to help identify the person or persons responsible for these fires.
