The deaths of 2 people are currently under investigation in one part of Schuylkill County.
According to information released Sunday afternoon by State Police in Frackville, the bodies of 2 people were found in a home along Maple Ave. in Barnesville, Ryan Township at about 6:30 p.m. Saturday.
Police have identified the deceased as:
- Lisa Long, 56, of Barnesville
- Ronald Zangari, 52, of Girardville
Police say they were dispatched to this scene after a concerned relative requested a welfare check on the address.
When police arrived, they found Long and Zangari both dead. At that time, the Troop L Major Case Team was called in for an investigation, which is currently ongoing.
Police are asking anyone with information about this incident to call 570-874-5300. They believe this is an isolated incident.
