State Police in Frackville have released surveillance images of a person they believe is a suspect in a recent home break-in in Schuylkill County.
The images above and below are from what police describe as a burglary in progress at 154 S. Spencer St., West Mahanoy Township. It happened around 4:43 p.m. on Saturday, March 11.
Whoever lives at that residence was not home at the time of this alleged break-in but they were alerted to the intruder’s presence from their surveillance system.

The victim of the alleged break-in notified their neighbor, who then went to check on the situation.
The would-be burglar got away on foot, running out of the residence. The neighbor attempted to chase them down on foot, too, but eventually lost sight of them.

Police describe the suspected burglar as being 5’8″-5’9″ tall with a slender build. At the time of the reported break-in, they were wearing a black sweatshirt with some type of red logo across the front, black pants, and black-and-white Nike sneakers.
