A Shenandoah man died on Sunday after crashing his car into a tree.
According to State Police in Frackville, the crash happened a little after 2:30 a.m. along Route 924 in E. Union Twp.
Police say Emmanuel Polanco Diaz, 22, was driving south on Route 924. While attempting to negotiate a left curve in the road, Polanco Diaz lost control of his car.
The car went off the west side of the road and crashed into a tree. The car impacted the tree along the driver side.
Emergency personnel were able to get Polanco Diaz from the vehicle and he was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital in Hazleton, where he was pronounced dead.
