The man shot at the Regal Cinemas location in Hazleton on Saturday night has died.
State Police in Hazleton reported this morning that 19-year-old Luis Manuel Luna, of Hazleton, died after being taken to the hospital following last night’s incident.
Police say the Troop N Major Case Team is still investigating the shooting incident.
On Saturday night, at about 8:15 p.m., police responded to a report of shots fired at the movie theater building on Laurel Mall Drive, Hazle Twp, Luzerne County.
At the scene, they discovered that Luna had been shot in the arcade/lobby area of the Regal Cinemas building.
The shooter fled the scene, police say. And as of Sunday, they have not publicly identified the shooter.
Investigators say this shooting was an isolated incident and Luna was targeted specifically by the shooter.
