A Schuylkill County man faces a disorderly conduct charge after he pestered police about a shotgun he owns that was in evidence.
According to information from State Police in Schuylkill Haven, Clayton Bixler, 47, of Hegins, is the owner of a shotgun that they had locked up in evidence. Police say they’ve got a separate investigation ongoing that involves that gun.
Well, Bixler wanted it back and apparently wasn’t going to take “No” for an answer on the afternoon of March 5. They say Bixler phoned the Schuylkill Haven and Frackville State Police barracks a total of 11 times in the span of an hour trying to get it back.
Police suspect Bixler was intoxicated while he was calling. He spewed profanities during the calls. Bixler was warned to stop calling but he didn’t.
Later, police showed up at Bixler’s home, where they found him non-compliant. Eventually, police took him into custody.
