A Shenandoah man says someone broke into his house and stole a safe, lockbox, and other items.
According to State Police in Frackville, the incident happened some time between 5:30 p.m. on Jan. 23 and 3 a.m. the following morning.
Police say a 29-year-old man on W. Cherry St. reports that someone broke into his home through an unlocked basement door.
The suspected thief made their way to the man’s bedroom. That’s where a safe, a lockbox, and other items were being stores.
After collecting their haul from the house, the suspected thief or thieves then made their way out of that house via the same basement door.
