Nadine L. Hausman, 74, of Slatington, passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2021, in St. Luke’s Hospice, Bethlehem.
She was the wife of the late Herbert Hausman. They were married 26 years until his passing on August 1, 2005.
Prior to retiring, Nadine was a hairdresser for most of her life. She was also employed at the Carbon Lehigh Intermediate Unit as a Job Coach.
Born in Lehighton, she was the daughter of the late Hilbert Steigerwalt and Arvilla (Ginder) Fritz. She was a member of Ben Salem UCC, Lehighton.
With her lighthearted humor, Nadine had a way with people, she could always put a smile on anyone’s face, and she was a pleasure to be around.
She was an avid reader and she enjoyed crocheting, baking, and canning, which she shared with friends and family.
Surviving is a goddaughter Melissa and her husband Terry Williams, and their daughters, Jessica and Jillian, of Slatington; nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 11am on Saturday, October 30, 2021, at Ben Salem UCC, 1965 Church Hill Rd, Lehighton, PA 18235, with the Rev. Kent Rhodehamel officiating.
Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 10 to 11am. Private interment. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to Ben Salem UCC, P.O. Box 128, Andreas, PA 18211. Arrangements are being handled by the Hartman Funeral Home, 1791 West Penn Pike, Rte. 309, New Ringgold.
