Armed Robber Gets $1,000 in Cash from Pine Grove Business

Someone held up a small business in the Pine Grove area early Sunday morning and police are looking for information on who may have done it.

According to State Police in Schuylkill Haven, the armed robbery happened at DB’s Smoke and Vape Shop, located in small shopping plaza along Tremont Rd., Pine Grove Twp.

At about 12:20 a.m., someone allegedly walked into the store wearing dark clothing, boots, gloves, and a mask. The suspect pointed a pistol at a store employee and told them to empty out the cash register.

Police say the robber got away with about $1,000 in cash. With loot in hand, the suspect fled the scene on foot and went in a southerly direction.

An investigation into this armed robbery is ongoing. Police ask if anyone has information on this incident near Pine Grove, they should call 570-754-4600.
