A new sign has been added to the Butterfly Garden at Canal Park in Pine Grove.

South Schuylkill Garden Club says the sign was hand-painted by Emily High, who is pictured above with her children Issaic, and Daniella.

The Butterfly Garden in Pine Grove is one of two maintained by South Schuylkill Garden Club. It, along with one in the Parkway in Schuylkill Haven, is designated as a Monarch butterfly way station.

The Canal Park butterfly garden in Pine Grove was restored in 2006 after it was originally planted by a Brownie troop in 1999, according to information from South Schuylkill Garden Club.
