If you haven’t noticed lately, COVID is dominating the news.
It sounds like you idiots got a little too cozy with that freedom stuff so everywhere you turn now, it’s COVID, COVID, COVID.
The “Wear a mask! It’s not hard. It’s not political.” people are back. They’ve got a whole new round of memes to share.
It’s the top story on the TV news for the last week or two.
You’re starting to see more people show up to places like supermarkets wearing a mask than you did a month ago.
And now you have the Biden administration basically admitting openly that a new round of COVID restrictions is coming.
Of course, we all know who’s to blame for this “rise of the Delta variant” … Republicans. Duh! If only those darn conservatives believed in science and facts.
Never mind the fact that the vaccination rate in metro areas like Philadelphia is no better than anywhere else in the state of Pennsylvania or any other state. It’s so obvious, that “anti-vaxxers” in Trump country are to blame for the Delta variant spreading.
Now, we are certain it’s only a matter of time until Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf wants to get back in on this action. He was humiliated in the 2021 Primary election when we voted to end his seemingly endless COVID-related Disaster Emergency declaration.
And if he wants to impose any sort of restrictions, he’ll have to issue a NEW disaster emergency declaration. It can only last for 3 weeks and at that time, he’ll need to really show us the science behind his actions, or it’ll be over once again.
But we’re almost certain something is coming: business restrictions, capacity limits … something. We can’t confirm. It’s just a feeling.
