Charles S. “Charlie” Promensky, 73, of Williamstown, passed away very suddenly Monday, March 8, 2021 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Born in Harrisburg, December 1, 1947, a son of the late Sylvester and Zora Kriner Promensky.
Charlie was a graduate of the former Williamstown High School. He was a retired ED Technician from TYCO, Lickdale. Charlie was also the caretaker of the Fairview Cemetery, Williamstown for many years.
He belonged to many organizations in Williamstown. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending the winter months in South Carolina, where he would walk the beach daily. He was an avid fan of Penn State Football.
Surviving are his son whom he was very proud of, Charles “Chuck” Promensky, Tower City; his companion for over 25 years, Bonnie Wiest Laudenslanger; Myrtle Beach, SC. He is also survived by Bonnie’s children, Tracey, Scott, Chrissy, Jon and Heather and their children, whom Charlie considered his grandchildren.
