There’s little doubt that, over the course of time, North Schuylkill’s Lady Spartans basketball team is the best in the area.
On Friday night, before a small crowd spaced out in Pottsville’s Martz Hall, North Schuylkill reinforced its claim as the area’s best by putting away Jim Thorpe in an incredibly fast-paced Schuylkill League Championship, 71-63.
North Schuylkill wins its 16th Schuylkill League title and second in as many years.
The Lady Spartans scored 45 points in the second half to pull away from the Olympians, outscoring them by the difference in the game.
The finalists went into halftime tied at 26-26.

Did NS and Nativity BVM ever complete a full investigative review of that dale grindr shimpf? Who knows how many times some of those teachers and parents looked the other way.
