Health officials confirmed 9 new cases of Chinese virus in Schuylkill County on Easter Sunday.
The county total, to date, is 188. Two people in Schuylkill County have died while battling coronavirus infection.

Statewide, cumulatively, there are 22,833 positive Chinese virus cases as of noon on Easter Sunday. Pennsylvania’s death toll from coronavirus-related illness is now 507.
The first positive case in Pennsylvania was reported on March 6. The first case in Schuylkill County was reported on March 22.
