Argall Closing Pottsville, Hamburg Offices but Keeps Mahanoy City Open

State Sen. Dave Argall announced Sunday he’s closing two offices he maintains in the 29th district due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Starting Monday, Argall will close his Pottsville and Hamburg offices. However, the one in Mahanoy City will stay open “for the time being,” he said in a statement.

His office in Harrisburg is also closed.

“The decision was made to help protect the health and safety of local residents and staff members,” he said.

To date, no positive cases of COVID-19 coronavirus have been confirmed in Schuylkill, Berks, or Dauphin counties. No of the State Representatives covering Schuylkill County have announced similar measures yet.
