National Weather Service issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for northern and eastern Schuylkill County until 6:45 p.m.

  • Mahanoy City
  • Frackville
  • McAdoo
  • Girardville
  • Hometown
  • Tuscarora
  • Oneida
  • Grier City
  • Park Crest
  • Altamont
  • Englewood
  • Delano
  • Aristes
  • Numidia
  • Sheppton
  • Brandonville
  • Coaldale
  • Slabtown
  • Wilburton No. 2

Severe thunderstorms earlier this afternoon dropped ping pong ball sized hail on portions of western Schuylkill County.

Very limited reports of any damage have come in from across Schuylkill County. However, these storms can produce wind gusts at 60 mph.
