400 PPL Electric Customers Without Power in Schuylkill County
The severe thunderstorms impacting Schuylkill County knocked out the power for 400 PPL Electric customers so far Tuesday evening.
According to PPL Electric’s outage map, about 296 customers are without power near Pine Grove around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Another 100 customers are without power near Tower City.
PPL Electric expects power to be restored to these communities by about 10 p.m. tonight.
However, that number could increase if severe storms persist around the coal region.
