Accumulating Snow in Some Parts of Schuylkill County on Wednesday

Some locations could see 1-2″ — Most will see less than a half-inch

Some parts of Schuylkill County can expect a little bit of accumulating snow on Wednesday.

While most locations won’t see much to worry about, others could see just enough to cause a little trouble on the roadways at times tomorrow.

In areas with less snow, there’s a chance of a small ice accumulation as freezing rain mixes with snow.

One thing that will be true for every location in Schuylkill County will be the presence of gusty winds, up to about 25 mph into Wednesday night.

Locations with less than an inch of snowfall expected can expect all precipitation to turn to plain rain in the afternoon.

Unlike today, however, temperatures will be more normal for this time of year, with many locations climbing to at or above 40 degrees for a high Wednesday.
