As I continue on this journey to serve my community as a candidate for the Saint Clair Borough Council, I want to take a moment to share my vision and goals with you. My name is Tom Kelly, and I am honored to be running alongside my dedicated running mates, Vaughn Vesay and Blake Herndon, as we seek your support in the upcoming election on November 4th.
One of my primary goals is to lower electric rates for our residents. I believe that by taking a critical look at our budget and cutting unnecessary expenses, we can make Saint Clair more affordable for everyone—families, businesses, and future entrepreneurs alike. Reducing utility costs will relieve financial pressure and allow our community to thrive. I envision a Saint Clair where residents feel secure in their homes and businesses have the breathing room to grow.
Transparency is essential in effective governance, and I am committed to ensuring that the voices of our citizens are heard. Embracing social media and technology, I plan to enhance our communication efforts, making it easier for residents to engage with their local government. I truly believe that when citizens are informed and connected, they become active participants in shaping our community. I want to create an open dialogue where your thoughts, concerns, and ideas can be shared and discussed.
Additionally, I am passionate about starting a proactive code initiative aimed at addressing the issue of blighted properties in our borough. By taking action before properties reach the point of demolition, we can not only help rejuvenate our neighborhoods but also generate revenue for our borough by holding out of state LLC’s accountable. This initiative will serve to uplift our community, improve property values, and create a safer, more beautiful environment for everyone.
Together with Vaughn and Blake, I am excited about the possibility of leading Saint Clair toward a brighter future. We humbly ask for your vote on November 4th. With your support, we can implement our vision and make meaningful changes together. Let’s work hand in hand to create a Saint Clair that we can all be proud to call home.
