Schuylkill County Commissioners approved three contracts for property demolitions last week.
In total, the Commissioners agreed to spend more than $63,000 to bring down the properties.
The demolition contracts approved at the Jan. 21 Work Session meeting include:
SHENANDOAH: A contract worth $11,181 to Brdaric Excavating Inc. for the demolition of 300 E. Lloyd St.
PORT CARBON: A contract with $28,812 to Robert Gusick Demo for a project at 211 Washington St.
PINE GROVE: A contract worth $23,700 to Arthur “Pat” Aungst for the demolition of 0 Mill Alley.
More demolition contracts were approved at the Commissioners Board Meeting held on Jan. 14. The contracts totaled more than $56,000. Commissioners also entered into cooperation agreements on several other properties at the same meeting:
GILBERTON: A contract in the amount of $11,711 to Dudash Pipeline Company, Inc. for a demolition project at 1313 Main St.
MAHANOY CITY: A contract in the amount of $13,711 to Dudash Pipeline Company, Inc. for a demolition project at 120-122 W. Birch St.
SHENANDOAH: A contract in the amount of $31,191 to Arthur “Pat” Aungst, Inc. for a demolition project at 26 S. Main St.
GIRARDVILLE: Approval to enter into a cooperation agreement for a demolition project at 25 W. Ogden St.
TAMAQUA: Approval of a cooperation agreement for a demolition project at 401 Willing St.
SAINT CLAIR: Approval of a cooperation agreement for a demolition project at 214 S. Third St.
SHENANDOAH: Approval of a cooperation agreement for demolition projects at 26 S. Main Street and 300 E. Lloyd St.
GILBERTON: Approval of a cooperation agreement for a demolition project at 1313 Main Street.
