Schuylkill County Man Guilty of Possessing Illicit Files Involving Minors

A Schuylkill County jury on Monday convicted a Shenandoah man of possessing hundreds of files containing child sexual abuse material, according to the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office.

Antony Cuff, 47, was found guilty of 17 counts of possession of child sexual abuse material and one count of criminal use of a communication facility. All charges are felonies.

According to a release issued by Attorney General Dave Sunday, the 17 possession counts represented more than 400 illegal files.

Following the verdict, Cuff’s bail was revoked, and he was remanded to prison. A sentencing hearing will be scheduled after Cuff undergoes a mandatory evaluation by the Sex Offender Assessment Board.

Evidence presented at trial indicated that the investigation began in February 2025. Agents with the Attorney General’s Child Predator Section executed a search at a home in Shenandoah after identifying an IP address at the property that had been used to upload child sexual abuse material through the search engine Bing.

During the investigation, agents determined that Cuff had accessed the files by using a neighbor’s internet connection.

The Attorney General’s Office also stated that agents discovered a doll “commonly owned by sex offenders” inside Cuff’s bedroom during the search.

Sunday praised the jury’s decision in a statement following the trial.

“A key to stopping the horrific exploitation of children is to go after the offenders who seek out and possess these materials, and hold them accountable,” Sunday says. “This jury recognized these files for what they depicted – abuse and exploitation of children – and returned a just verdict.”
