The first-ever Schuylkill Stampede on Saturday was a massive success.
Organizers say all tickets to the rodeo main event were sold out, including VIP experiences. About 2,400 people watched Saturday evening’s rodeo at Schuylkill County Fairgrounds.
The event featured bull riding and barrel racing.
Schuylkill Stampede also included live music performances, mechanical bull rides, pony rides, a petting zoo, and a number of food and retail vendors throughout the day.
Next year’s Schuylkill Stampede is already in the works, with the third Saturday in October tagged as the date.
