DA: Saint Clair Walmart Shooting Still Under Investigation

Details remain at a minimum three months later

The 2024 shooting incident at Walmart is still under investigation, according to information relayed to The Canary by Schuylkill County District Attorney Mike O’Pake on Monday.

O’Pake did confirm that his office is still investigating potential charges in the case but declined to offer up any more details because of the ongoing nature of the investigation.

Police from around Schuylkill County were called to the Walmart in Saint Clair just before 4 p.m. on Nov. 10 for a reported shooting inside the store.

No injuries were reported from the incident and police have said that one shot was fired inside the Walmart during a “physical altercation” between three men.

Saint Clair Police previously stated that the man identified as the shooter was “fully cooperating” with the investigation and they’re labeling him as the victim. Names of those involved in the incident have not been released.

I believe we’re entitled to the names. As far as no charges, that’s a joke. Public endangerment, inciting a riot, discharging a firearm in a public place…..
    Should I continue….
