Fur-iday Friends: Let’s Meet Your New Best Friend!

Let’s get Edna, Whirly, Betty, and Bart a new fur-ever home today.

It’s Friday, and it’s time for the next round of Fur-iday Friends from Coal Region Canary.

These future best friends of yours are available for adoption right away at Hillside SPCA.

Be sure to check in every “Fur-iday” to help these amazing animals find the love and care they truly deserve.

Here are this week’s Fur-iday Friends:

Betty

Betty is a lab/pit mix. She is between 2-3 years old.

Betty needs to go to a home where she’ll be the only pet unless she’s adopted with her brother, Bart (see below).

She’s good with people and is more of a snuggler.

Bart

Bart is Betty’s brother.

He loves walks and would fit best with a family that’s more active and has a big yard. Bart’s also great with dogs, cats, and people.

Edna

They call her Edna No Pants at Hillside because she loses the fur around her back legs during the summertime due to an allergy issue. But she doesn’t lose her affection for people.

Edna is about 9 years old and came to the shelter as a stray and would do best in a laid back home. She would tolerate a setting with older children in the house.

She’s FIV and leukemia negative.

Whirly

Whirly is between 8-10 years old and looking for his forever home.

He recently came to the shelter but gets along with other cats and is great with people.

Staff at Hillside say he’s a very curious cat.

Adopt a Pet at Hillside SPCA
