A Schuylkill County man says he was the victim of Sextortion.
According to State Police-Schuylkill Haven, a 67-year-old man from Tower City says he sent nude photos of himself to a person claiming to be a female via the Signal app.
After the recipient got the photos, they allegedly extorted the local man into depositing $220 into separate CashApp accounts. If he didn’t deposit the money, the person said they were going to post the photos online.
State Police say their investigation into this report is ongoing.
