It’s Friday, which means it’s time for another edition of Fur-iday Friends, our series dedicated to helping shelter animals in Schuylkill County find their new forever families.
Today, we’re excited to introduce you to some of the shelter’s delightful residents — both cats and dogs — all ready to become a part of your family and find their fur-ever homes.
Be sure to check in every “Fur-iday” to help these amazing animals find the love and care they truly deserve.
Here are this week’s Fur-iday Friends:
Ducky and Cardinal
Ducky and Cardinal are a sister act who really should be adopted together.
They’re about 2 years old, negative for FIV and leukemia, are spayed, up-to-date on their shots and ready to come home with you today.
Ducky is definitely the more outgoing of the pair. She’ll make fast friends with you the first time you say hello.
Cardinal is a sweetheart but a bit skittish but extremely laid back. She just needs time to warm up to you and get comfortable in her new surroundings.
Jamesie
Jamesie is a very friendly and majestic 4-year-old husky.
He’s neutered and up-to-date on his shots.
Jamesie is good with other dogs and would be best in a home with older children or no children but not little kids.
He’s high-energy and loves squeaky toys. Jamesie would not work out well in a home with cats.
Mechka
Mechka is a 2-year-old Chow Chow/Pomeranian mix. She’s been spayed and is up-to-date on her shots.
She’s really good with other dogs but not with other small animals.
Mechka is good around children and is a very smart dog.
