It seems many in the Pottsville area and across Schuylkill County are mocking the new Safety Stick parking surveillance cameras.
But on Friday morning, we found one notorious heel who seems to like them … The Grinch!
We spotted The Grinch lurking about downtown Pottsville.
He was collecting quarters from a meter on Mahantongo Street but rather than give them to the city, he just tossed them in the air.
And when he came upon one of the Safety Stick cameras at the corner of Mahantongo and Centre streets, it’s hard to tell because it happens so rarely, but the sight of it may have brought a termite-riddled smile to his greasy banana peel face.

Ha,ha,hee,hee This is where we’re headed. Stay the eff out of Pootsville/Putzville. That is the message being sent. I feel very bad for the businesses located there. Not gonna catch me there! Sorry MPS located out of state.

I feel bad for business owners who try to make it in Pottsville. Think about retail, for example. Rental contract is signed, merchandise is purchased.. advertisement expenses, building customer base, etc, etc. All of a sudden some buraucrat(s) desides to make it hard for everyone by simply installing parking surveillance cameras. Have they at least consult with businesses before doing something as dumb as that?!
