A Frackville man died Sunday afternoon in a one-vehicle crash on Sunday afternoon in Schuylkill County.
According to State Police in Frackville, the crash happened at about 1:30 p.m. along Route 54 (Barnesville Dr., just east of Berkley Rd.) in Ryan Township.
That’s where a vehicle driven by Russell Brobst III, 44, of Frackville, was traveling west. No one was in the vehicle with him at the time. Brobst’s vehicle crossed over the eastbound lane and left the roadway. The vehicle struck a tree head-on.
Police say Brobst died at the scene of the crash and was pronounced dead by the Schuylkill County Coroner’s Office.
