Fighter’s Heaven Camp to Host Therapeutic Riding Fundraiser

Fighter’s Heaven, at the site of the former Muhammad Ali Training Camp, outside Deer Lake, is set to host a fundraiser in May to support the Schuylkill County Therapeutic Riding Program.

The fundraiser is called “Characters at the Camp” and will feature the stars of numerous children’s movies for a meet-and-greet character breakfast.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, May 13, from 8:30 a.m. until noon at Fighter’s Heaven, 58 Sculps Hill Road.

Kids in attendance will get a one-on-one experience with their favorite characters from their favorite movies.

Ticket purchases for the event will guarantee a pancakes and waffles breakfast with Mickey Mouse from 8:30-9:30 a.m. More characters arrive starting at 10 a.m.
