Schuylkill County Woman Stabs Husband with Pen in Fight Over Furniture, Police Say

She allegedly hit in the face a couple times, too.

Police say a Schuylkill County man was stabbed with a pen during a violent argument over a piece of free furniture.

Back on May 31, just before 7 p.m. on Church St. in East Brunswick Twp, a married couple started arguing over a piece of free furniture, according to information from State Police in Schuylkill Haven.

The couple apparently disagreed about how they were going to get said piece of free furniture in their vehicle. And that’s when things turned violent, police say.

At some point, the husband says his wife hit in the face several times. And then she stabbed him in the arm with a ball point pen, police say.

Both the husband and wife did not ask for any EMS treatment. Police say the eventually tracked down the wife after the argument at her home and taken into custody without incident.

Police say both the husband and wife got charges filed against related to this conflict.
