That includes Cass Township, which (according to the 2000 Census) is the municipality with the highest concentration of its population with Ukraine roots.
A little more than 14% of Cass Twp. claims to be of Ukrainian descent. Among the top 10 American communities in this category, there are 4 in Schuylkill County:
- 14.3% in Cass Twp. (Most in the US)
- 12.4% in Gilberton (4th)
- 8.8% in St. Clair (7th)
- 7.6% in Frackville (9th)

Don’t you have better things to report about Ukraine rather than the percentage of Ukrianians in a small town? I live in a town in the Midwest and there are probably more Ukrainians in 2 apartment complexes than the total population of Schuylkill.

Yeah, no. We have nothing better to report. Also, that must be a very large apartment complex. Our population is more than 150,000.
