A Schuylkill County man says someone robbed him through a hole in the wall of his apartment. Police need your help finding the suspected burglar.
State Police in Frackville report they responded to a reported burglary Thursday evening on Water St. in New Philadelphia.
There, 52-year-old Kenneth Hollenbach told police that sometime while he was at work, someone entered his apartment and took $200 in cash from him.
Hollenbach says he came home and noticed a large hole in his wall. He suspects a person entered a neighboring apartment that’d been abandoned following a fire there.
The reported robbery happened some time between 5:50 a.m. and 7 p.m. on the 16th. Once inside, the burglar reportedly took 4 gum-banded bundles of 50 $1 bills.
It’s not known how the suspected burglar got away from the scene.
