Pottsville Tempting Students to Get COVID Vaccine with Amazon Gift Cards, Mac and Cheese

Pottsville Area School District officials are trying to encourage students to get a COVID vaccine by offering 2 chances to win an Amazon gift card.

The school will be hosting vaccine clinics at Martz Hall starting this week, on July 27, and again on Aug. 17, from 10 a.m. until noon.

Students who get both shots or who show that they’ve already been vaccinated can enter to win one of two $200 Amazon gift cards. Those who attend the second vaccine clinic day in August are being tempted with a lunch of the school’s mac-and-cheese and a pan roll.

Vaccines are only available to students over 12 years old. To sign up for a vaccine, students are told to register ahead of time.
