Elderly Pottsville Woman Says Jewelry Stolen from Her Room

An elderly Pottsville woman with a residence on Red Horse Road says someone stole some valuable jewelry from her room earlier this month.

According to State Police in Schuylkill Haven, the 95-year-old woman says the theft happened between 6 a.m. on Oct. 13 and 7:30 a.m. on Oct. 14.

She reported the following items stolen:

• Lithuanian amber gold ring
• Black onyx gold ring
• Red ruby gold ring

The value of the items is more than $500, according to police.
