Police continue looking for a New Philadelphia man following an assault last week.
According to information from State Police in Frackville, an arrest warrant has been issued for 30-year-old Cody Adams. Police say Adams assaulted another New Philly man during a fight on the night of Sept. 4.
New Philadelphia Man Wanted Following Bowl Attack
Adams and the victim in this case were arguing at a house along Valley St. in New Philly just before 9 p.m. last Friday. After exchanging words, the fight turned physical.
Police allege Adams dropped the victim to the floor after punching him. With the victim on his back, Adams grabbed a glass bowl and hit him. The bowl attack caused a severe cut to the victim’s elbow.
When police arrived, Adams had already fled the scene. The victim of Adams’ attack was transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital in Pottsville where he received treatment in the ER.
District Judge Christina Hale issued an arrest warrant for Adams when police couldn’t find him at the scene.
If you know where Adams is now, you’re asked to call 9-1-1 to report his location.
