Angry Customer Spits On Schuylkill County Store Clerk Over Price of Water

The price of a bottle of water these days is enough to boil anyone’s blood.

But a Wilkes-Barre man took it about 3 steps too far over the weekend during an incident in Schuylkill County.

Angry Customer Spits On Schuylkill County Store Clerk Over Price of Water

According to State Police in Frackville, 37-year-old Gera Borrero stopped at a store along Morea Rd. in Mahanoy Township at about 2 p.m. Saturday.

Borrero apparently thought the price of a bottle of water was too damn high and decided to take it out on the clerk.

What started as a shouting match quickly boiled over, police say. As Borrero left the store, he spit on the store clerk, a 26-year-old man from Barnesville.

The spit hit the clerk on his right shoulder.

Police say they’re planning to file harassment and disorderly conduct charges against Borrero.
