Elizabeth ‘Betty’ Jones, 95, a former resident of Ringtown, currently a guest at ManorCare Health Services in Easton, passed away Sunday, May 3, 2020.
Betty was born in Dorothy, NJ, on September 17, 1924, a daughter of the late Elizabeth (Stern) and William Serbeck.
Betty worked at the Justborne Candy Company while living in Bethlehem, until she and her husband relocated to the Jones family farm in Ringtown.
She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Ringtown.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, and her husband, Oliver “Dutch” Jones.
Betty leaves behind her daughter, Rose, wife of Ed Tadayesky of Easton, grandchildren and great grandchildren, Vickie and Ray of Florida; Paula, Rihanna and Jaxson of Easton, along with nieces and nephews.
Betty will be laid to rest at St. John’s Cemetery during private family services.
