Saint Clair Police identify John “Bucky” Berger as the person who stabbed a Harrisburg man in the neck Tuesday in the borough.

Today, the police issued a photo of the man wanted for the crime. They say Berger is from Pottsville and 34 years old.

WOLF-TV Reporter Katie Byrne tweeted this photo of Berger earlier Wednesday.

According to Skook News, Berger is listed at 5-6, 165 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. He’s wanted on charges of attempted homicide, aggravated assault, and other crimes.

Police say Berger stabbed a 41-year-old Harrisburg man in the neck Tuesday.

Residents close to the situation believe the victim made his way into the Buckhorn Cafe in St. Clair, bleeding from his stab wound. He then left the bar.

That situation jostled St. Clair on Tuesday afternoon.

The elementary school instructed parents of children who walk to school to come pick up their kids at 3 p.m. Tuesday. A dance studio business cancelled its evening classes, too.
