National Weather Service has issued a Frost Advisory for Schuylkill County.
The Frost Advisory is in effect from 11 p.m. Saturday, May 2, until 9 a.m. Sunday, May 3. Overnight lows of about 33 degrees will result in frost formation, forecasters say.
Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation and some outdoor plants could be killed when frost forms and they’re left uncovered. Those with these plants should take steps to protect them from frost.
More Spring-like air is expected in the area over the next seven days, with daytime highs mostly in the 60s and 70s and overnight lows in the 40s and 50s.
