State Police say they’re investigating a pair of illegal dumping incidents that occurred recently in Schuylkill County and asking the public for help in identifying the suspects.
The first incident occurred in Schuylkill Township back on March 15, near Cherry St. and Old 209 Rd. Police say a white man and woman were seen dumping construction material into a culvert. When they were confronted about their activity, they reportedly fled in a gray Toyota Camry with the registration LHF1300.
Another suspected illegal dumping incident occurred on March 22 in West Mahanoy Township, along W. Centre St., police say.
An unknown person driving an older green Dodge 1500 pickup truck towing a small utility trailer allegedly dumped a large amount of trash in an area where a large amount of trash is not supposed to be dumped.
The suspect or suspects then fled the scene west on W. Lloyd St.
Anyone with information on these incidents is asked to call State Police-Frackville at 570-874-5300.
