National Weather Service has issued another Cold Weather Advisory for Schuylkill County for Tuesday evening into Wednesday.
Bone-chilling Wind Chill Factors as low as -15 are expected during this time.
The Cold Weather Advisory is in effect from 7 p.m. Tuesday until 10 a.m. Wednesday.
Frostbite and hypothermia are possible from any prolonged exposure to air this cold, NWS says.
According to the latest 7-day forecast for Pottsville, tonight’s actual low temperature will be 2 degrees.
On Wednesday, a high temperature of just 15 degrees is forecast, with Wind Chills down to -10.
Tomorrow night’s low temperature is expected to be a flat 0.
But that’s not even the coldest one this week.
Right now, the forecasted low temperatures on Thursday and Friday nights are -2 degrees and -4 degrees, respectively.
High temperatures the rest of this working week won’t break 16 degrees.
A “warm-up” is in the forecast, however. This weekend, Schuylkill County residents can expect high temps up to 27 degrees on Sunday.
